Montefortino helmet was the standard helm of the Republican Roman Legionary and would have seen service with Caesar's legions. Made of bronze with hinged cheek pieces. The interior of the helmet has a padding inner– included a padded cotton arming cap that can be worn beneath the helmet to provide cushioning and comfort
