The Roman Auxiliary Cavalry E Helmet (or Auxiliary Infantry 'E') is a 2nd-century A.D. artifact discovered in Heddernheim (ancient Nida) near Frankfurt. Used by both cavalry and infantry, this type of helmet is a significant find from the Roman settlement of Nida, a major military and civilian hub in Germania Superior.
Historians believe it was worn by cavalry as well as by infantry. Delivery includes cotton cap for wear underneath.
Made in 1.2 mm thick bronze material best for reenactment.
